Automatic Steel Sliding gates are the perfect solution for restricted parking areas or where a sloping driveway retricts the use of traditional inward swinging gates.

There are several other advantages over swing gates including increased security and less vunerability in high wind loading situations.

Steel sliding gates don't have to be 'industrial looking' , AGD has commissioned many traditional or ornate sliding gates designs, many of which have been made to look like a pair of swing gates.

Construction
Our standard and bespoke steel sliding gates are manufactured to the highest standards by an established local gate fabricator who fully understand the desgn requirements for automatic gates.

Our automatic steel gates are beautiful crafted in Northamptoshire and once fully welded and assembled we hot dip galvanized to ensure against future corrosion, which should give you total peace of mind when comes to on going maintenance.

Finishing
The gates are usually receive a satin black  top coat finish, special colours are available upon request - please specify the apprpriate RAL colour or BS reference.

Finials can be left black or highlighted by a process called patination, this dry brush process subtly finishes the finials in gold, silver, bronze or verdi-gris highlights.






We can also create beautiful fence and railing designs to complement your entrance gates.

  Industrial/Commercial
 

We have the capability of supplying and installing large automatic sliding gates up to 10m in width and up to 3m in height.

Most applications have called for high security, generally we specify palisade type vertical rail for this purpose.

However, most other design requirements can be accommodated.




Agricultural

As with industrial and commercial applications we are able to supply large or small automatic sliding gate systems for working farms and rural estate applications.

The construction of the gate can be based on a 5 bar diamond braced style or a 5 bar with a single apex style (as shown here).
