Introducing the steel gates range from AGD Systems. Traditionally known as wrought iron gates, most modern gates are in fact made from steel and occasionally from cast iron.

There are still a few small forges skilled in the art of crafting old style wrought iron gate designs, AGD Systems can assist you in specifying gates suitable for adding our automation kits and access controls.

Our electric steel gates can be installed as 'Stand Alone' (to stand alone steel posts) or to Stone or brick piers with built-in steel reinforcements (RHS or RSJ steels).

Construction

Our standard and bespoke steel swing gates are manufactured to the highest standards by an established local gate fabricator.

Our steel gates are beautiful crafted and once fully welded and assembled they are cold galvanised to prevent future corrosion, which should give you total peace of mind when comes to on going maintenance.

The gates usually receive a satin black spray paint top coat finish, special colours are available upon request – please supply the RAL or BS colour reference number/description if required.

Finials can be left black of highlighted by a process called patination, this dry brush process subtly finishes the finials in gold, silver, bronze or verdi-gris highlights.

We can also create beautiful fence and railing designs to complement any of the entrance gates.
