Sloping Drive Entrances – The Solution from AGD Systems
Just what can you do with a driveway that slopes in all directions?
This installation in Kineton, Warwickshire was carried out on behalf I P Builders.
There were several factors to take into account:-
The path way sloped upwards left to right
Inside, the drive sloped upwards.
There was no room for a sliding gate to slide internally
The entrance was next to a pavement so the gates could not open outwards
With a little help from I P Builders the driveway levels were equalled out as best as possible.
AGD Systems specified FAAC 770 Underground Motors and designed the timber gates to have a solid sloping bottom rail that followed the slope angle of the pavement.
As you can see from the photos, the result achieved was excellent and visually the Idigbo Hardwood gates look great and balanced.
