Commercial Palisade Gates

Palisade gates are most often specified and used along with palisade fencing, not only to match, but to offer a good level of security for any commercial premises. The gates are normally cold rolled steel sections which are hot dipped galvanised and left in that state for a silvery colour and a good, corrosion resistant, long lasting finish.

Often specified with the top sections cut into sharp points they are gates you would struggle and not really want to climb over.

Palisade fencing is one of the most commonly used fencing styles for security conscious industrial and commercial premises.

This style of fence has proven to be especially popular as it can be combined with the higher security electric operated palisade gates, and together they offer an effective security solution. There is a selection of optional powder coat finished colours available if required, allowing your gate to match the accompanying fence colour.

Our super strong steel palisade gates can be designed to swing, slide or operate as a cantilever gate system, and will be installed by our own trained installation team. AGD Systems have extensive experience of creating bespoke palisade gates to integrate with new and existing fencing installations.

Example Application

Shown below are images from a successful AGD systems installation of an airlock principle sliding gate system to a car pound in North London. It eliminated the possibility of tail-gating into or out of secure facilities as only one vehicle can enter the airlock at any time.

It also meant that the operator no longer needed staff in the pound to open and close a manual gate. This was an important consideration in the move to an automated system as staff were constantly subjected to verbal and sometimes physical abuse by members of the public when collecting their vehicles.

This installation was controlled via CCTV from a central office. The controller opens one gate and allows the vehicle to drive in. Once inside the gate is closed behind the vehicle. Only then is the exit gate opened to allow the vehicle to exit the airlock. The exit gate is closed before another vehicle is allowed in.
