Commercial Palisade Gates

Pallisade fencing is one of the most commonly used fencing styles for security conscious industrial and commercial premises.

AGD systems has extensive experience of creating bespoke pallisade gates to integrate with new and existing fencing installations.

Gates can either be swing, tracked sliding or cantilever sliding style.

AGD systems  successfully installed an airlock principle sliding gate system to a car pound in North London. It eliminated the possibility of tail-gating into or out of secure facilities as only one vehicle can enter the airlock at any time. It also meant that the operator no longer needed staff in the pound to open and close a manual gate. This was an importat consideration in the move to an automated system as staff were constantly subjected to verbal and some times physical abuse by members of the public when collection their vehicles.

This installation was controlled via CCTV from a central office. The controller opens one gate and allows the vehicle to drive in. Once inside the gate is closed behind the vehicle. Only then is the exit gate opened to allow the vehicle to exit the airlock. The exit gate is closed before another vehicle is allowed in.

 This is a large airlock because it had to accomodate a vehicle recovery truck.
