Large Iroko Bow Top Timber Gates

Client Brief:

Description:
Large Iroko Bow Top Timber Gates

Location:
West Midlands

Below, you will find an example of a large set of Inward Swinging Timer Gates made of Iroko Hardwood. Due to the size and weight of these gates, we installed RHS steel posts, which provide greater strength, these were then over-clad with matching hardwood boards and caps in the gothic style. Also installed were two large infill panels, also made of Iroko Hardwood, and stained to match the gates, the right hand infill was made complete with a large letter box with a lockable rear door for mail retrieval.

Automation installed is the heavy duty FAAC 770 240v Electro-mechanical underground motors, operated via hand held transmitters. Also for entry there is a Videx GSM flush fit intercom, mounted on a bespoke standalone post made to match the gates, this enables vehicle drivers to conveniently reach the equipment without getting out of their vehicle. There is also a keypad and an underground loop for auto exit.

Safety equipment installed is a set of photocell beams and the underground induction auto exit loop, which is also used as a safety loop dectector.

AGD Systems also completed all of the civil works and supplied and installed fencing, which is reflected in the overall price of this installation.
