The York style gate was part of The Gate Express range. This means it was pre-assembled in the factory ready for delivery, bolted down to pre-cast foundations and commissioned within 21 days of the order placement. Whilst Gate Express is no longer available,we can easily replicate the same design principal of installing pre assembled gates. Of course, we can still offer the York style gate for installation to brick piers or steel posts.
The photograph has been taken part way through installation at this stage the gates have been bolted down onto the bases and have actually been commissioned - all that needs to be done is to complete the construction of the piers, driveway surface and boundary walls.
The gates are hot dip galvanised and spray painted stain black with finials and various details highlighted in patinated or brushed gold.
The gate was manufactured in the 12ft wide version with build around steel support posts – this means that the posts are pre set to allow for brick or stone piers to be built around the posts.
The FAAC 770 electro mechanical underground motors were installed with:
- low level emergency manual override keys
- safety photocell beams
- radio receiver kit
- 2 hand held remote controls
- weather proof control box
Access control is via hand held transmitters, hardwired intercom and keypad. All civil works and power supply requirement were carried out by others.
