These Chacombe Pale style gates have been traditionally constructed from West African hardwood. During the manufacture process, this gate received two or three coats of high quality exterior grade Sadolin Jacobean Walnut stain to match the double up and over garage door.
The key feature here is that the gate and post material match exactly. This is because the posts are actual steel box section over cladded with matching hardwood board and post caps.
The automation kit installed is the reliable heavy duty FAAC 770 electro mechanical underground units.
The gates are operated via hand held transmitters in the semi automatic mode i.e 1 pulse to open and 1 pulse to close. Allso installed is a robust surface mounted metal entry keypad with illuminated press buttons.
Safety equipment installed includes photocell beams and underground induction safety loop detectors ensuring that the system is very safe to use.
AGD Systems carried out the whole installation with the drive surface, civil works and 230v, 13 amp, RCD protected power supply requirements being provided by others.
Our sister company The Garage Door Centre supplied and installed the automatic well respected Hormann GRP up and over garage door complete with a steel frame, which can be seen behind the gate entrance.
