This gate is yet another version of a 5 bar vehicle gate except this gate is a 4 bar gate with a special removable lattice infill.

The gate and posts were installed by a local joinery company who nominated AGD Systems to automate the gates. The gates are traditionally constructed from Scandinavian Redwood (Softwood) with a fully medium colour stain finish. The gates are mounted to solid oak posts with give the whole gate entrance unique look and meeting the clients exacting requirements.

Here the gate operator arms have been mounted to a mid rail for two reasons

• To miss the low level side wall in the open position
• To allow easy access to the emergency manual override key

Automation installed is the FAAC 413 electro mechanical rear mounted operator arms.

The vehicle gate is operated via hand held transmitters in the semi automatic mode i.e. 1 pulse to open and 1 pulse to close. There is also a push button to allow 1 gate leaf to open for pedestrian only use.

Safety equipment installed includes photocell beams and underground induction safety loop detector(s).

AGD Systems carried out the whole installation (with the exception of the power supply and civil works requirements which were provided by others). Our sister company The Garage Door Centre supplied and installed a bespoke double timber up and over garage door with a heavy duty operator, security de-latching kit and an external emergency manual release kit.
