Client Brief:To provide a new automatic boundary gate with vehicle, Intercom, coded access with remote control hand transmitters.
Hardwood construction with vertical style lines to complement house frontage.
These bespoke flat top open pale style gates have been traditionally constructed from Iroko hardwood. On completion, they have received two or three coats of high quality stain to give an excellent weather proof finish.
The key feature here is that the gate and post material match exactly, this is because the posts are actual steel box section over cladded with matching Iroko hardwood board and post caps.
The automation kit installed is the reliable heavy duty FAAC 770 electro mechanical underground units.
The gates are operated via hand held transmitters in the semi automatic mode, also installed is a surface mounted metal entry keypad with illuminated press buttons and a BPT Targha intercom.
An externally mounted lockable steel post box has been installed for secure mail retrieval.
AGD Systems carried out the installation with the drive surface, civil works and power supply requirements being provided by others.
