This is another fine example of the curved heel 5 bar gate, raised helve or Suffolk Style gate.
The gates are traditionally constructed from Iroko hardwood with a fully stained with Sikkens light oak stain finish. The gates are mounted to black steel posts with give the whole gate entrance a neat and bold look.
Automation installed is the FAAC 422 hydraulic surface mounted operator ram that has anti crush by pass valves. The gates are operated via hand held transmitters in the semi automatic mode.
Safety equipment installed is photocell beams and underground induction safety loop detectors. A security electro mag-lock fitted to the slam post which prevents the gate from being forced open and damaging the operator.
The matching pedestrian gate has a manual latch that allows access for the postman and other visitors on foot.
This particular gate is installed in the village of Great Easton near Rockingham, Northamptonshire. A similar gate system followed on from this in another part of the village & hopefully more will follow shortly as word of mouth spreads!
AGD Systems carried out the whole installation with the power supply requirements being provided by others.
