Description:
Automatic Steel Gates with Access Controls

Location:
Earls Barton, Northamptonshire

This project was really enjoyable to take part in.

Our client had recently moved from a property where we had previously installed GRP Woodgrain gates. We were only too pleased to return to these previous customers and assist them in achieving their new objectives.

The brief was straight forward - to install a pair of attractive looking steel swing gates that are fairly traditional in style and in keeping with a modern refurbished dwelling.

Our sister company The Garage Door Centre had already established contact installed an automatic garage door. Our client approached us following a reference from The Garage Door Centre with his wish list and we recommended the Isham style gates shown in the photo. The Isham style gates work well in a modern and rural setting. The robust construction ensures security and reliability.

The gates are hot dip galvanised and painted stain black to ensure many years of low maintenance use.

The gates are automated by means of the well respected FAAC 770 underground motors complete with 1 set of safety beams and 1 no safety induction loop detector.

Access controls included remote hand held transmitters, state of art wireless intercom with built in entry keypad mounted to the brick piers. As a special feature, we set up the remote controls to operate both the gates and the garage door to open and close on a common two button remote control hand set making it very convenient to operate. An exit keypad was also  included.

As with many of our installations the client arranged for the civil works and power supply to be installed which worked really well. AGD installed he underground motor units along with the all the other access control and safety equipment.

The system has been installed or a few years now and continues to work well. The Isham design style can be emailed to you on request.
